Sniff and Tells are scheduled to educate the public about the suitability of the retired racing greyhound to become a family pet. We have plenty of literature, adoptable greyhounds, and adoption representatives at each location. GAA loves for adopters to come out and show their support.

Camden
Riversharks Opening Night
Friday, April 25
7:00 pm
GAA will be
manning the concession stands and our Sniff and Tell booth at
the Opening Game for the 2008 Camden Riversharks game on April
25. We will need at least 20 volunteers to run the
concession stands and another 8 people for the booth. We
will provide the available greyhounds for volunteers to hold at
the booth. We ask that everyone be at the stadium by 5:00
pm to set up and get instructions.
Contact the
adoption kennel if you are interested in helping with this
event. Please come out and help us make the 2008 Camden
Riversharks season a winning year for them and the greyhounds!!
Greytwalk 2008
Saturday, May 3
Medford Village and Freedom Park
Get your
greyhounds ready for a group walk. GAA will be holding a
Greytwalk to raise funds, raise community awareness, and have
some fun. The walk will start and end at Pavilion #2 in
Freedom Park. Sponsor packets can be picked up at the
adoption kennel. We are looking for a big turn out and for
volunteers to take some adoptable greyhounds on the walk.
Ask relatives,
friends, co-workers, total strangers, etc. to sponsor you on the
walk. All funds need to be collected before the walk and turned
over at sign in before you walk.
Funds raised for
this walk will go towards a generator and air conditioner for
our greyhound hauler. For more information call the kennel
at (856) 220-5158.
Sharrott Winery Festival
Saturday, June
14, 2008 - 12:00 to 5:00 pm
GAA will be
helping the Sharrott Winery celebrate their Grand Opening on
Saturday, June 14, 2008, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. We will
have an adoption booth at the Festival complete with
information, adoptable greyhounds, and plenty of volunteers to
answer any questions.
Sharrott Winery
is located at 370 South Eggharbor Road in Winslow, New Jersey.

Due to the lack
of foot traffic at our local New Jersey, Delaware, and
Pennsylvania Petcos, and the lack of professionalism in their
management teams at these stores, GAA will not be associated
with them.
We request that
all our 700+ adopters visit their local
Petsmart
stores and continue to support them as they are supporting us.
Look at our Petsmart
schedule above to find out when we will be at your local
Petsmart
store.
Greyt Events
Greyhound
Angels Adoption would like to thank the Camden Riversharks for
letting our greyhounds take over the Campbells Field during
their 2007 season. Thanks to them GAA has placed 100
greyhounds from this venue alone.
2008 Season
We need volunteers to attend the Camden
Riversharks home games. Please call the kennel, (856)
220-5158, if you can attend any of the following games.
April 2008:
April 25 - Camden
Riversharks Vs. York Revolution Game starts at 7:00 pm,
volunteers and greyhounds must be there by 6:00 pm for set up.

Community Outreach Program
We are currently working with the Jewish Community Center in Cherry Hill, New Jersey to bring the greyhounds to their programs. We have been a part of their after-school program for the developmentally disabled. We are looking forward to working with them again in the night program for developmentally disabled adults.
If you are interested in being a part of our Community Outreach Program or would like the greyhounds to visit your program, please call 1(866) 4The K9s.
